Cheekbones to die for ♥

Well a lot has happened recently in my life. And now I can upload pictures, I can share the events visually too . Firstly Princess the stray kitten we took in now has a new home and new mummy. Dave’s friend Tori came yesterday and with her pink carry case and pink hair took the pink collared cat home to live with her small daughter and other cat. Who apparently is simular to Gonzo, because she’s big and black. I wish them well and Tori has promised to keep in touch so all is good, and it’s back to toliet training our cats.

Last weekend at the drop of a hat (always nice) me & David went to York for the weekend. Mostly we shopped, it was for christmas so I could, hoorar! But the mix of old with new is so striking in York it’s hard not to take in the serious amount of churches strewed across winding back streets. It has a medieval feel about it as the town is covered in mock tudor, something I love as it is truely a preservation of the past. Always a good thing.

The room makeover is still on going…and going….and going. I did get rid of heaps of stuff two weeks ago with the help of Jayne. Lots went to charity which is always something that makes you feel better isn’t it? There’s still alot to do, the main thing being de-cluttering as I hold on to anything and everything. However after reading a very interesting article in Psycologies magazine I have a new take on how to sort out my junk and will continue today. I will keep posting pics of my progress as it will be a nice to look back on, one day.

Work: Ah work, sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it. Anywhoo, despite it paying the bills at the moment I can’t help but think that it is damaging my hearing. I’m working on my hypocondria, I am but the ‘loss of voice’ is not something I am prepared to go through. I still have a slight hope that one day it will become my source of income. With that in mind, I have started to apply for other jobs. One thing I hate about the company is the constant lies. They promise you one thing and then fail to deliver. Psssfff, I’m off.

Aswell as de-cluttering my home I have also been de-cluttering my head. It’s currently filled with worry and anger. There are a lot of people in my life who I considered very good friends at some point, and they have proved that time and time again. But this year it seems that several ‘friends’ have broken our ties. Without effort from both sides, there is no friendship and effort is lacking, but not from me. So I have made a list which I will keep private, I have worked out who makes the effort and who seems to not be arsed. After several failed emails, phone calls, texts and letters my patience has worn thin. I’m well known as a push-over, well not anymore.

And finally, to afford to spoil Dave on his birthday, have pennies for a trip at the end of November and to crawlout of my overdraft. A lot of clutter* seems to be clothing no longer worn. So these items and a few nic-naks are going on ebay to raise funds. So if you’re feeling generous, want some cheap new items, whatever. Get on my ebay. x
